This Privacy Policy describes how Reckona Inc. ("we") handles information in the Flatbias mobile application (the "App") and on this website.

Information we collect

• Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive your payment details. Entitlement status is stored on your device.
• Game progress. Your detailed puzzle progress, solution, folding steps, and settings are stored locally on your device, and we cannot restore them for you. The anonymous first-clear summary described below is the only game-progress information sent to our service.
• First-clear statistics. To show aggregate puzzle difficulty, the App sends the puzzle identifier, the number of verification attempts from first opening to first clear, or a marker showing that the result is excluded from aggregation because a hint was used or another local safety condition occurred. The exclusion reason itself is not sent. The App also sends a random installation identifier and a random event identifier. Cloudflare temporarily processes these identifiers and standard request metadata such as the IP address. The installation and event identifiers are pseudonymized immediately after receipt using separate keyed hashes; the stored installation hash is also scoped to one puzzle, so stored records cannot be linked across puzzles. Raw identifiers are not stored in the statistics database or application logs. We do not send your solution, folding steps, Apple or Google account, or advertising identifier for this purpose. Firebase App Check helps reject requests that do not come from the App. Pseudonymized per-puzzle contribution records are stored on Cloudflare for up to 24 months and are aggregated before display.
• Usage analytics. The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which puzzles are played and where players get stuck. The events we send are limited to: a puzzle was opened, a puzzle was cleared (with the polyhedron type, its grid size, and how many times you tapped Verify), and the subscription screen was viewed. Alongside these events, Google collects an app instance identifier, device model, operating system version, language, and an approximate location derived from the IP address (country or region level). We do not set a user identifier and do not send anything that identifies you personally.
• Crash diagnostics. The App uses Firebase Crashlytics. When the App crashes or misbehaves, it sends a stack trace, device model, operating system version, App version, an anonymous installation identifier, and the time of the event, so that we can fix the bug.
• Advertising data. The App shows ads served by Google AdMob for users without a subscription. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads. On iOS, tracking for personalized ads occurs only with your permission via App Tracking Transparency. Where required, a consent prompt (Google UMP) is shown, and you may opt for non-personalized ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Your choices

• Personalized ads. On iOS, decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or turn off Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, use Settings → Google → Ads to delete or opt out of the advertising ID. Where a consent prompt is shown, you may choose non-personalized ads.
• Analytics and crash reporting. These are on by default and the App has no in-app switch for them. Deleting the App stops any further collection. On iOS, Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) is used only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

What we do not do

• We do not require an account and do not collect your name, email address, or contacts.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not collect precise (GPS) location.

Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services, which process data as described in their own policies: Apple App Store / StoreKit, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob (including the User Messaging Platform), Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase App Check, and Cloudflare. Data handled by the Google services above is processed under Google's Privacy Policy.

This website

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and contains no advertising. Cloudflare processes request data, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the site, and may provide privacy-focused website performance analytics inserted at the edge.

Website analytics (Google Analytics 4). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how this website is used, for example which pages are viewed, whether the daily puzzle is played and shared, and whether visitors follow the App Store or Google Play links. For this purpose, information such as the pages you view, the events above, your browser and device type, language, screen size, referring page, and an approximate location derived from your IP address (country or region level) is transmitted to Google LLC and processed under Google's Privacy Policy. We do not send your name, email address, or any account identifier, and advertising features are disabled.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics cookies are used only after you accept them in the consent banner (Google Consent Mode). If you decline or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set and only cookieless, aggregated signals are sent. To change a previous choice at any time, open Cookie settings; the consent banner will be shown again. Elsewhere, analytics cookies are used to distinguish repeat visits; you can block them with your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
